To guarantee the quickest backup of your device, please ensure that your computer remains powered on and connected to the internet for at least a day or two after the client update. This change should happen silently in the background, but unfortunately, it will require an entirely new backup to be created from your computer. This change requires that the existing Code42 client be uninstalled and a new client installed (version 8.8.4). Beginning May 11, 2022, CrashPlan enterprise backups of University-owned devices will be migrated to a new backup storage location. ![]()
